Ugh Austin is so far away from me, too. I went to see Xiu Xiu last summer in Forth Worth but got sick at the show and had to leave

SHIT, you went to the lola's saloon show?

yeah, i read their tour dates for 2008 and thought they were for 2009...
the result is that i got super super excited for like a month, then re-read over their dates to make sure and i was crushed. Kind of stupid on my part...

Yup, it was that one. I'd never been to Lola's and it was too small and too crowded, thus I got sick. I am not a fan of small, crowded places.

That sucks, I hate when I read tour dates wrong. I rarely go to shows anymore anyway, though. People at shows annoy me.

i havent been to enough shows to really have the fans annoy me so much to motivate me not to go.

... on second thought, all of the shows i have gone to, the fans were just horrible. the bands themselves werent great, but the fans were just awful.
